Redeemer has served as my spiritual home for the past 18 years of my life and has given
countless opportunities to further my relationship with Christ while also furthering myself as a
person. While I may have gone to school away from home for much of my life, Redeemer is my
home, and without it, I wouldn’t have been able to even dream about going to boarding school.
In the 3rd grade I went to St Thomas Choir School in New York City; I remember Ms. Moe
helping me with my audition, and I feel confident in saying that if it weren’t for her, I would
never have been accepted and I certainly wouldn’t be the person I am today.
Among the many experiences Redeemer has provided for me, St. Michael’s Conference
is one I continue to look forward to every year, and I am so grateful to Redeemer for giving me
the chance to further my faith with my friends here in Sarasota and those across the East Coast.
As I prepare to go off to college in the fall at Florida Southern College, I’m excited for a
change in scenery and to be closer to home than I’ve ever been since 2nd grade. But as I look
back on those years away from home, the countless changes of scenery and environments, one
thing has been constant: Redeemer has been there for me through thick and thin, and I am
eternally grateful.
