Episcopal Thrift House in Downtown Sarasota, Florida

 

Church of the Redeemer’s Episcopal Thrift House is staffed and managed by volunteers, mostly from the parish. The team also includes a contingent of caring community volunteers who donate their time and energy. Diane Miles is the volunteer manager of the Episcopal Thrift House.

Merchandise

Items for sale at the Episcopal Thrift House include costume jewelry, books, artwork, small furniture, lamps, China, houseware, linens, men’s clothing, women’s clothing, shoes, purses, and much more. Almost all of the items for sale in the store are donated by Church of the Redeemer parishioners, with additional items donated by store volunteers, friends of the parish, and other community members.

Monday-Friday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Episcopal Thrift House welcomes your donations of gently used items. The shop is open for donations during regular business hours, but due to space limitations, please call 941-365-1519 before donating. Thank you!

‌Volunteer

The all-volunteer Episcopal Thrift House staff, made up of Redeemer parishioners and friends, works hard throughout the year to price donations, sort and process merchandise, help customers, and more. Thank you to our many volunteers and to Episcopal Thrift House Manager Diane Miles for their hard work!

Would you like to be part of this special team that gives back? The Episcopal Thrift House could use your help! Each volunteer shift is three hours, and three people work during each shift, giving you the opportunity to make new friends while making a difference in the community.

All profits from sales at the Episcopal Thrift House go directly to those in need in Sarasota and beyond. Each year, the shop awards several grants to area nonprofits and community projects.
