Redeemer’s Annual Parish Celebration!

Redeemer’s Annual Parish Celebration was a joyous event, spotlighting another remarkable year in the life of the parish, all to the glory of God.

Filled with laughter, joy, and love, this year’s celebration was also punctuated with a few tears, as the parish family prepares for the pending retirement of Fr. Fred and Linda Robinson, after almost 26 years as Rector, on 31 January.

Janet Trefry was named Senior Warden for 2020.

Four new members of the Vestry were elected: Ken Bailey, Richard Scantlebury, Susie Shugg, and Marsha Thompson

Fr. Robinson announced the 2019 Volunteers of the year: Marsha Devitt, Carl Stockton, and Becky Thornhill.

While adults were in the church, children enjoyed “Pancakes and Pajamas,” a great Redeemer tradition where PJs and bathrobes are “church clothes,”  a delicious breakfast of pancakes and bacon, prepared by Chef Jeff Trefry and John Parks is served, all the while watching a movie on the “big screen” in Gillespie.
