Stephen Long - Senior Warden

Born and raised in the local area, Stephen Long brings a multi-generational component to the Redeemer Vestry. His father’s family were active members of Redeemer dating back to the 1950s. Stephen’s parents, Michael and Joyce Long, were married by Redeemer Rector Father Tom Fitzgerald in 1976. Stephen was baptized at Redeemer on Easter Day in 1978 by Father Fitzgerald. He and his wife, Melissa, were married at Redeemer in 2007. Stephen is the proud father of Roscoe (14) and Arch (11), and his immediate family has been members of Redeemer since 2012.

Stephen’s passion is mission outreach with an emphasis on getting men back to God’s house. He also enjoys the opportunity to chaperone youth mission trips during the summer.

Professionally, Stephen manages financial affairs for a group of families and business owners. He joined the practice in 2004, which was originally founded by his father in 1978.

Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, including his boxer (Rowdy), as well as spending time outdoors.
