Jeff Trefry

The Trefry family has been members of Church of the Redeemer since 2000. Jeff Trefry has served as a Sunday School teacher with his wife, Janet, for 22 years. They hosted the Friday Morning High School Boy’s Bible Study for seven years. Jeff has participated in Vacation Bible School, LOGOS, Day 4 Hope, Jazz and Jambalaya, and Just Do It. He has also represented Redeemer for 12 years at the Sarasota Ministerial Association’s Thanksgiving luncheon for the less fortunate. In 2021, he was honored to be named Redeemer’s Volunteer of the Year.

Jeff is a classically trained chef who studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. During his decades in the kitchen, he has worked in several 5-star and 5-diamond properties. Recently, he was given the opportunity to apply his culinary skills in the senior living industry.

Jeff enjoys spending time in the fresh air and sun and cherishes time with his children and grandchildren.
