Jackie Overton
Director of Youth and Outreach Ministries
Jackie Overton was born and raised outside of Philadelphia. She graduated from Eastern University in 2007 where she studied Biblical Studies, Theology, and Anthropology. Since graduating, Jackie has served in youth ministry at the parish level full time. A proponent and trainer for Peer Ministry Leadership, Jackie believes in empowering young people to design, develop, and lead youth ministry programming themselves to increase engagement.
Jackie’s passions include living a life of service. She serves on Redeemer’s Mission & Outreach Committee and the Isaiah 117 House Sarasota/Manatee board of directors. She also is the service-learning coordinator for FLE Santiago, a grassroots school and community organization in the Dominican Republic. In her spare time, she can be found on the sports field with her husband, Brian, supporting one of their three children (Benjamin, Logan, and Eden) in their extracurricular pursuits.
