Daniel Cartlidge
Associate Choirmaster & Contemporary Music Director
Daniel Cartlidge joined the staff at Church of the Redeemer on the Sunday of Easter II 1998 as bass section leader. Shortly after, he became Assistant Organist and eventually was appointed Associate Choirmaster. He took on the role of Contemporary Music Director in the fall of 2012. Daniel has enjoyed a long career in music, ranging from singing grand opera and oratorio to choir and orchestral conducting to performing on St. Patrick’s Day in local pubs.
He enjoys camping, visiting his family cottage in Michigan, spending time with his fiancée, Loren, and anything related to cutting, splitting, or crafting with wood. He is the son of Florence and the Rev. Dr. David Cartlidge and has two children, Christine and Kevin, and a granddaughter, Cora Grace.
