
Bob Carter
Bob Carter has been a member of Redeemer for three years. He is a regular attendee of the 11 a.m. service where he and his wife, Carol, are ushers. He has participated in Redeemer Neighborhood Groups as a facilitator and attends Men of Redeemer events. He is a lifelong Episcopalian and served as a Vestry member and Senior Warden at Grace Episcopal Church in Elkridge, Maryland, where he was baptized and confirmed.
Bob worked as a CEO in philanthropy and marketing. For 15 years, he has operated a consulting firm in that space. He has served as advisor to fundraising campaigns around the U.S. and internationally, including for Episcopal parishes in Pennsylvania, New York, and Maryland. He advised the late Rt. Rev. Bishop Dabney Smith on the renovation of DaySpring Episcopal Conference Center of the Diocese of Southwest Florida and currently advises Bishop Lawrence Provenzano of the Diocese of Long Island, New York.
Bob has served on several boards, including St. Stephens Episcopal School, Mote Marine Laboratory, World Health Organization Foundation, The Boys’ Latin School, and the National Aquarium. He fishes, follows secondary and collegiate lacrosse, and helps Carol care for miniature donkeys on their property. He remains active as chair of his company.
