It’s a landmark day!  Sunday School resumes in-person and in-classrooms on Sunday, 7 February.

With COVID protocols established by Redeemer’s Reopening Task Force, Redeemer safely returns to in-person Sunday School this weekend, 7 February!

Safety protocols are in place, among which are:

  • Masks are required
  • Temps will be taken, and hands will be sanitized upon entering classrooms
  • To allow maximum space for social distancing, utilizing open windows, and best ventilation, classrooms have been reassigned
  • Air filtration systems are in place
  • Classrooms will be sanitized after each use
  • Suggested access to classrooms limits the number of persons using each of the doors, stairwells, and halls

Our nursery is open for “Confident Walkers” through those who have not yet reached their fourth birthday. Please note that due to COVID, the nursery is no longer “drop-in.” Please help us serve your family by registering your child(ren) each week. This process is needed to ensure adequate staffing and space. You can register quickly and easily by linking here. Parent pickup is no later than 10:40 AM.

Our 4-and-5 year-olds PreK class structure has changed slightly. Children in this class will start out in church with families, meeting their teachers in Children’s Chapel. Children in this class will head to their classroom with their teachers directly from Chapel, with a 10:40 AM parent pick-up on the 2nd floor of the Robinson Center (see map).

Grades K- 3: After receiving communion, parents and their K-3rd graders will meet Sunday School teachers in the Courtyard, and after saying goodbye to parents, each class will travel as a group to their relocated classrooms above Gillespie Hall. Parent pick-up at 10:40 AM will take place in the same Courtyard drop-off location, not at the classroom door. (see map)

Grades 4 and 5: After receiving communion, students in these grades will travel independently to their classrooms, now located above Gillespie Hall. Students are asked to use the Gillespie Hall stairs. Class concludes at 10:40 AM. (see map)

Grade 6: After receiving communion, 6th graders travel independently to their relocated classroom, #220 in the Robinson Center. Students are asked to use the Robinson Center stairs. Class concludes at 10:40 AM. (see map)

Grades 7 and 8: After receiving communion, students in these classes travel to newly assigned classrooms in the Bell Tower Wing. Students are asked to use the door by the Bell Tower. Class concludes at 10:40 AM.  (see map)

Grades 9-12: After receiving communion, high school students head to their new classroom in the Bell Tower Wing. Students are asked to use the door facing Sarasota Bay, which leads directly into their new classroom. Class concludes at 10:40 AM. (see map)
