Welcome to the Culverhouse Collection Wine Auction benefiting Church of the Redeemer!

The online-only auction starts on Monday, February 26, at noon, and ends on Thursday, February 29, at 11:45 p.m. Read below for important information before clicking to see the wines and visiting the auction site.

Important Information
In this inaugural online auction with items donated by parishioner Hugh Culverhouse, you can find exceptional wines that have been perfectly cellared and are suitable for any occasion or budget. Whether you are searching for rare, highly collectible wines — such as cabernet blends from famed winemaker David Abreu in California — or want a great wine at a great value to enjoy with friends and family around a Tuesday night dinner table, there is something here for you. Even if wine isn’t your thing, perhaps you know someone who might enjoy a bottle or two as a gift while at the same time supporting Redeemer ministries and outreach.

Because these wines were donated to Redeemer — and the proceeds benefit the parish’s ministries and outreach — the minimum bid price published is well below current retail and auction prices. There are no auction house or extra fees added, and many lots are a single bottle, giving you increased flexibility in purchasing only what interests you. Once the auction begins, consider using the “Buy Now” button, which bypasses the bidding process and guarantees you get the lot at a fixed price.

Don’t miss this opportunity to own some great wines at great prices that benefit the work of this great parish! Ready. Set. Bid!

About Church of the Redeemer
Church of the Redeemer is a growing parish of nearly 3,000 members in the heart of downtown Sarasota. The parish is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida and a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion. Redeemer is known throughout the area and beyond for its focus on worship, preaching, music, faith formation, community outreach, and youth and families. Redeemer’s roots in Sarasota trace back to the late 1880s. The campus at 222 S. Palm Ave. occupies an entire city block and hosts about 600 services each year as well as concerts, guest speakers, community service projects, and more. In 2023, Redeemer welcomed nearly 180 new members, representing record new membership for the third straight year, and donated over $650,000 to nonprofits in Sarasota and around the world.
